The Liberal Studies Program allows me to take many different classes, meet different kinds of people, and have a well-rounded education. This degree will provide me with a great knowledge on many different aspects of life, while still allowing me to apply to medical school and pursue my aspiration of becoming a doctor. Instead of getting only a science degree, I can expand my education and take more classes that I am interested in, graduate with a vast knowledge which professionally will help me better understand the needs of my patients, and hopefully shape me into a an overall better person.

I enjoy the liberal studies track because of the diversity in learning. I believe the Liberal Studies degree is one of the best degrees and showcases diversity in an individual unlike most other degrees. I am truly looking forward to my next classes in my Biology and Education areas of study and my Health Sciences minor, and finally fulfilling my dream of becoming a teacher.

My degree in Liberal Studies with minors in Psychology and Business Administration will compliment the knowledge, skills and abilities I use on a daily basis in my position as a Human Resources Consultant. I realize that to achieve further advancement opportunities in the workforce, I need additional academic credentials and I believe my Bachelors in Liberal Studies will help me successfully meet this goal.

The Liberal Studies Program enables me to study several areas (Health Service Administration, Behavioral/Social Sciences, and Public Affairs/Criminal Justice). HSA will allow me to learn more about health administration and how to better meet the needs of others. Behavioral/Social Sciences are essential areas of study in all aspects of our lives due to our diverse and multi-cultural society. It is vital to work effectively with all people - regardless of race, gender, creed or nationality. The changes in our country require that we become more aware of the potential threats to our home and working environments. By studying Public Affairs/Criminal Justice, I can better understand our law system and recognize potential problems in the health-care profession before they occur.
