A meaningful education for the 21st century.
The Interdisciplinary Studies Office at UCF provides several ways in which to gain a degree relevant to 21st century life. Interdisciplinary education is central to the Interdisciplinary Studies track, with two core courses, two areas of study, and a minor. The Liberal Arts track allows students to concentrate more deeply in the traditional arts and sciences. Environmental Studies provides preparation for careers and advanced educational opportunity in the environmental field.

Interdisciplinary Studies students take classes and concentrate in study areas throughout the university. These areas, together with minor degrees, allow students to tailor programs that meet their interests and inform their goals. Students graduating with an Interdisciplinary Studies degree enter career paths, go to graduate school, and use their interdisciplinary knowledge in a world that more and more demands multiple dimensions of expertise.
