Areas of Study Prefix Sheet
UCF courses are categorized into twelve different areas of study or concentrations for the 2006 catalog. These areas are usually defined by prefixes for the courses, although there are some exceptions. This sheet is a general guide to the course prefixes and their associated academic areas. More specific information for your individual program of study and for particular courses is available from the Liberal & Interdisciplinary Studies Advising Team.
